King’s Pharmacy is a busy operation, filling 1,200 to 1,500 prescriptions per week with a 12-13 person staff.

A Team-Based Approach to Patient Care

Anthony explains that King’s Pharmacy uses a team-based model where staff members handle most patient counseling and inquiries during pickup or over the phone. Pharmacists are available for more complex clinical questions. The team’s long-standing experience, with some staff members having been there for over a decade, allows them to build strong patient relationships and handle daily challenges effectively.

Seamless Integration with EQUIPP Copilot

Anthony emphasizes that the EQUIPP Copilot works “hand in hand” with their existing pharmacy software, requiring no extra work. The tool runs in the background and provides timely pop-ups with patient initials (e.g., “JD” for John Doe) to alert staff of available opportunities for enhanced services, such as medication adherence programs. This feature eliminates the need for staff to manually check for patient-specific programs, making it an intuitive part of their workflow.
